Abstract

A six half dialled cross analysis including four entries of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx mori, L. was carried out to study their combining ability. Non-additive gene action is important and plays a predominant role for all the traits under study. The values of (GCA) δ2G/ (GCA) δ2s indicates that non-additive gene action is important for all traits measured in this work.
